Marvel made a big mistake just making it a pc game and by making it only point-n-click alienated a huge population of gamer/comic fans. Although DCUO has definitely fed on the MMORPG types, as far as a comic fan playing a 'comic book related game' I think it has a much shorter lasting appeal.

Also I don't think DC/SOE is taking full advantage of the vast lineup of characters it has at its disposal. content is usually just recycled (levels, missions, enemies) to the point where even the new stuff feels like it's something you have done before. What keeps DCUO from being a great game is it's lack of detail and really it's unwillingness to be creative. If Marvel made a game with DCUO type gameplay and used the ideas behind Marvel Heroes as far as dungeons, gear and it's attempt to keep players not bored I think we'd have the best superhero game ever.

Well,i liked the two games,i liked play with my hero againt braniac,i liked play the demo with Wolverine on the NYCC,i assure you,i will continue play DC Universe Online,and will play Marvel Heroes,because each game have their own porposes and gameplay,but for me,each with their own styles,features and goods and bads.I will love play with the Heroes,but loved create an hero,don't like see great heroes in backgronds,and see more than one Wolverine!!!But the two game have convinced me again,with how amazing the Comic Universe can be.Д«een playing since beta and I still think DCUO is the best Marvel MMO out there (I only make Marvel themed toons strangely enough). Now Marvel Heroes,i loved Diablo franchise,and since their announcement,i am looking for the game,because i love the comic world,and the Marvel Universe.I become so excited about the game,to create my hero to fight alongside Wolverine(alongside,no to be send to make their job),but i receive the notice of the game will be only playable with the Marvel Heroes.I play Ultimate Alliance,and liked create my team of heroes in the RPG world,so Marvel Heroes will creat this in a MMO universe,Amazing,but,i see how many diferent the both games can be.David Brevik convinced me to become 'the' Marvel Hero,not 'a' Marvel hero,because i not enter in the Marvel Universe only for help the heroes,i will enter to be a truly hero.I have read many,many comics in my life(As i said before)and when i see the mutant massacrer in he demo of the game,i feel the same excitement when i read the comic book,pok isn't the same story,but of course it's only a demo,i feel the same thing when i see in the DC universe gameplay trailer for the first time,the streets of the gothan city.I want to play this game to see the greatest sorylines of the Marvel,to be inside the story,not as an reader,but as a player. Ok.I'm like the both Universes,Dc and Marvel,but about the games.Marvel launched great titles where its the greatest heroes united to save the world,Since the Marvel Super Heroes:War of the Gems,from Capcom,to Marvel Ultimate Alliance, from Activison,but Dc,makes me cry with their poor games,Only Batman and Superman.Batman and Superman.Like in MUA,they try to make an RPG from Snowblind Studios(Exellents Actions RPGs on their list!),Justice League Heroes,an game with an bad history,bad gameplay,only the graphics is cool,but I cry of the same way.BUT,here comes the Batman Arkhan City and DC Universe Online,games where the heroes show how amazing the DC universe can be.ДC Universe Online is one of the best MMORPG I have played in my life,travel in the gothan streets and in the Metropolis town,is wonderful,but,now the bad notice.I like create my own hero,make me feel great in the game,but what is this,the world is in the End,and Superman,Batman, and Wonder woman only can stand on the Watchtower without making nothing,unless send an untrained Hero to make their job,ohhh my god,ok,Lex,Circe and Joker to this is ok,they are villains without conduct,c'mon Batman,you can make more than only hear the future Lex to defeat Braniac.In the game they created an unique story,is good,not amazing,but good,I read many comics to know how many trouble Braniac can make.But,when i am playing,i don't can save civillians without think i am making superman's dirty job.They have created an unique DC universe where heroes and villains are waiting an war in the future,but they forget the present in the hands of anyone.I think the Superman is the great SuperHero of all time,to be left in the background in a game of such proportions.
